For all chapters, there are some general assumptions that will be made from the beginning, so some things will not be mentioned after the first time. My guess is that you acquire the Key to Success skill very early, so the correct keys will only be mentioned the first time they need to be used. I highly recommend purchasing the Detective's Guess skill as soon as possible, as it makes working through the investigation sections much easier. The same goes for the three "Photo Op" skills, which make sections that require photography easier.

Chapter 1 Choice

When the game starts, you will first be placed in a short tutorial about the basics of combat. Finish each clue, then defeat the group of thugs to continue. After that, you will have to go to Pink Street to the marked location to find the detective. You will be placed in your first section of the investigation, where you must discover him from similar people. To your left, he will be a guy standing and talking to a man in a brown jacket who is looking away from you.

You are then introduced to the tailings mechanic and must follow him to your destination without being seen. Once it reaches its destination, you will be stopped and have another investigation where you will have your first cat.

2nd active search: "Find your drone"

The cat will be almost directly in front of you, facing the wall on top of the air conditioner.

After you spot the cat, look directly above the alley where you should see 4 blue lights which are your drone hovering in the air. You will then have to head to the alley to interrupt the detective in his conversations with the bookmaker, where he will then try to escape. This then introduces you to the chase mechanic where you run after someone while avoiding obstacles to catch up with them and then grab them by pressing :about:

After the credits, you will be in your office with Kaito and then you need to go to the Genda Law Office to see if you can take on any work. You must first head to the marked Poppo store to buy a present for him, so head to the marked location and buy the only item available. As soon as you get back outside, you will be attacked by some thugs and the game will offer you to try out the Wall Jump attack, then you can defeat the group. After a short conversation with Captain Hamura, you will be able to move around Kamurocho completely if you wish, or head to the Law Office to continue the story.

Go inside and talk to Genda to ask about a job he won't be under pressure for now. You will then be tasked with going to the Tender Bar, which is another of the main places where you interact with your friends during the story. While inside, you will talk to Cintani and have your first case of dialogue selection with the "correct" order. Other than the trophy locations mentioned, they don't require you to get them in the correct order, but you do get bonus SP when you do, if you follow it, it's best to pick the right one for the extra early SP.

On the exit, the owner mentions that he has some work for you, but will come back later once you've finished what you're doing now (you'll be prompted to do so during the story later). Now go to one of the taxi locations and go to the police headquarters where you will go to talk to Hamura about his arrest.

Once you get back to Kamurocho you will have to head to Sauna Goten to talk to someone there about the possibility that there are any records or people who saw what happened. Talk to the man in the orange uniform who won't have much information for you. Next, you should head around the corner to Kyushu No. Restaurant. 1 Star, where you should see a man in a brown coat with glasses at the corner of the building. Talk to him and he will tell you about the owner Hamura had a fight with. After that, talk to the woman in the pink jacket and the guy in the red who don't know anything. After that, you must return to your office to finish the day.

The next morning, you will have to head to the Mijore Cafe to talk to Cintani again, who will tell you about the Amour Club. Head there to find out more information about this case. Once outside, you will enter the Investigation to find the club's security camera, but first you must find the cat in this area.

3rd Active Search: Outside Club Amour “Find Security Camera”

Turn around from where you start, the cat is in the doorway on the left to right near the barrier keeping you in that area.

After noticing the cat, go back in front of the club, then look at the buildings on the opposite side of the street. The camera will be directly above and to the left of the "Girls Bar Raspberry Sunshine" sign. Once you enter the club to talk to the worker, then exit at the back into the alley. You will then need to head to the Mantai Internet Cafe to meet up with Tsukumo, where the game will introduce you to the Chatter search, which you will use at several points later in the game. He finds the club owner's potential location to travel to. You should see a man with a red hat on the side of the road, talk to him and he will tell you that the owner has moved to Taihei Boulevard and you will have another place marked on your map. He will want you to show him evidence of what happened, and you should show him the following:

You will return to the club and must select the following options:

You will then have to hit the road and Kaito will call you as soon as you go outside and ask you to go back to the office. There you will get to know Mafuyu and then some important police figures once you get outside. Once this is done, you will receive a message from Tsukumo asking you to do him a favor and pick a figure for him, which will be your introduction to the friendship mechanic that the game has. Head to the Ebisu pawn that will be marked on your map and acquire the Star of Love piece. After you do that, you need to go back to the internet cafe to give it to Tsukumo, which will raise his friendship to the max. You will then have access to several friends around Kamurcho that you can interact with and increase their friendship level by interacting with them. In order to advance the story, you will have to travel to Genda again to speak with Xintani. After learning the facts, you will return to the street and have to go to the Matsugane family office. After the cut-scenes inside, you will receive a call from Kaito, who will ask you to go to KJ Art to meet him. Once outside, he will call you, asking you to look to the right of the building to find him. Before you notice him, you must find the next cat.

4th Active Search: Outside KJ Art “Look for Kaito”

After spotting the cat, you can turn back to the right, looking up to where he is standing on top of the building.

You can take the stairs to get to it, or take a shortcut up the stairs on the left side of the building. Talk to him on the rooftop and you'll be introduced to the drone's flight mechanics. Before you do anything, there is a cat and a person that you want to discover.

1st Drone Search: After meeting Kaito outside of KJ Art "Use the drone to find Murase"

After you notice the cat moving down two floors, you should see a person sitting in a chair reading a magazine. You need to spot him here so that a Skill Book will appear later in this room, which you can pick up. After that, you can finally move to the right of this room, where you should see Murase kicking the guy on the ground.

After you spot him there and he's gone, go up one floor and he'll be in a fancy room in the corner (it takes him a second to get up there). You will return to the rooftop with Kaito and must select the "Put on Disguise" option as a way to get inside the building. First you need to go to the side of the building to destroy the heating unit, so that there is something for the repairman to come to fix. Here you will be introduced to lock picking, what you need to do to get inside the gate. Once you start interacting with the AC unit to destroy it, head to Don Quixote to buy a disguise. After you've bought it, return to the roof where Kaito is waiting for you. Make a save before talking to him because you can't save at all until you finish the next section.

Talk to him and the game will prompt you to put on the disguise you purchased and then head down to the front door of the building. Talk to the lady inside at the reception and then head to the room on the left.

To progress, check directly to the left next to the door you entered, where the light switches are usually located.
Then check the table on the left for blueprints.

You can then look at the note on the table in the middle for an extra SP and then zoom in on the safe keyboard on the left to confirm you need a code for it.
There are three notes throughout the room, two on the server racks and then in a laptop in the middle. The one on the laptop takes you to the safe, code 5038. You should also notice a note on the left side of the server rack, 8919, as it is used to get into the room on the third floor.

Enter the code in the safe to get the key, then return to the main area. Exit the door to your left to be outside. After inspecting the unit you destroyed before being stopped by a man who will lead you upstairs to repair another unit. You will have to hit :sq:

On the next floor, when you're ready to progress, interact more with the marked door and the game will introduce you to the key selection mechanic. Click:tr:to use the correct key, then go upstairs again and close the lock on the door.

On this floor, you want to head around the corner to the keypad door, then enter 8919 to enter the room. On the floor here you will find a book of skills Rush Training, which appears here because you noticed the guy with the drone before. Exit this room, then exit the window to the right and go up to the roof. Move along the outside, then after you jump over the fence, you will have to deal with a large group of enemies. Once they're dealt with, head down the fire escape and re-enter the building, then head through the large door to the office.

This will be your first main boss in the game against Murase. In the beginning it looks like a normal enemy, but once you drop it about half way you will enter fast time where you have to press:sq:

After the following scenes, you will return to the rooftop with Kaito and be tasked to return to the detective agency to end the day. This time your office will be locked, press:x:

Talk to Shintana, then afterword talk to Saori. You will then have to go do something while waiting for Shintana to call you so you can use the opportunity to go and make friends or something. He will call you and then you will have to take a cab back to the police station to talk to Hamura again. As soon as you return, you are tasked with going to the Tender to talk to someone about some information potentially related to the case. You then need to travel to Stardust to find the host that Hamura apparently attacked on the night of the murder.

Talk to the boss outside and he will tell you that Seiya is on a date. You will call Tsukumo to look for chatter and select the word "Date" to give to him. You will get three locations marked on your map, head to each one and talk to the girl in each location. After those three, you'll get a fourth marker that you can travel to to finally find Seiya.

You will then be tasked with heading to Kyushu Star #1 to find the security camera there.

6th Active Search: Outside Kyushu #1 Sushi "Find Security Camera"

First, find the last cat for this chapter, it's at the south end of the Alley, just over the border where you can walk.

Then look for the camera, it is located north of the display case on the opposite wall

After you spot him, you will be attacked by Murase with a large group of enemies, but Kaito will come to the rescue. This time, Murase has a real sword from the start of the fight, so you'll want to avoid his swings as much as possible, as you usually can't block melee weapons. Halfway through he will do the same and attack you in quick time and you will have to hit :sq:

Head up to the roof where you were with Kaito before and you hatch a plan to get inside. Kaito throws a sign through the front door to get some guys out in front, then you'll head back towards the fire escape. To get into the building itself, the game will introduce you to the Thumb Turn Bypass lockpicking mechanic. Inside, go upstairs and you will be stopped by a person you will have to fight. After that, climb the fire escape to the next floor and pick the lock.

Inside you will be attacked by a man with a sword and you will have to quickly press:x:

Go up to the next floor, then use 1370 on the door to get inside. You will have to fight a group of 4 guys to save the girl, then you will have some more story and the chapter will end.

Chapter 2 Choice

At the beginning of the chapter, you will be talking to Kaito at one of the previous crime scenes. Choose any dialogue for him, no matter which one you choose. Then you will have to go to the scene of the second crime scene.

Active Search: At the site of the second serial murder "Find out where the body was found."
First find the cat for this chapter, it's on the left side of the entrance, on the ledge above the yellow crates

Then search the bags on the left side, right below the cat's location.

Next, search the small spark on the ground to the right of the garbage bags. You will not find anything useful, but then a masked man, who is being pursued by the police, will pass by and seize your phone. You need to chase him to get him back. Once you do, Kaito will send you a text message to let you know that he has contacted Ayabe and he will let you know when he is ready. In the meantime, you need to go to the law office to talk to Genda.

Before you get anywhere, you'll be stopped by a homeless man in the park who wants you to go down the drain to find a doctor for your friend. When you get there, tell him "Kondo is calling you" and you will go back and the doctor will help him, then you will have access to Moroboshi's services in the sewers. He will heal your mortal wounds, and you can buy health packs from him that will let you do it yourself. Now you can go talk to Genda.

Here you will be introduced to side cases and you will be given one to help a woman find out if her husband is cheating on her. Head to the marked location on the map, then you will have to follow the person to the destination. He will pick up a woman, then you will be tasked with taking pictures of them as evidence of his infidelity. Wait for them to come to the hotel entrance, then get closer and take a picture of them fulfilling all the conditions on the side as they enter the hotel. You will then have to follow the woman for a bit to find out who she is. Once you have completed this, you will return to your office and the side housing will be completed. At this point, you can take cases from the council in your office or by talking to Saori at the Genda Law Office.

Go outside and you will be stopped by Kim Won Soon, who is being chased by a gang. They will come and attack you too and you will have to deal with them. The game will then introduce you to the threat mechanic where you will be attacked by the Keihen gang at certain points. After you leave the restaurant after talking to Kim, the drones will pass by and you will have to head to the front of the Millennium Tower. There, the man will tell you about the drone races, which you can then participate in from the counter in the lobby of the Millennium Tower. Kaito then calls you and asks you to meet him at the Koi Bride.

Talk to him inside and a group of thugs will attack you. The man at the counter reveals that it was a test to make sure you entered L'Amant well, which is a casino tucked away in the store's basement. Get down there and press:r1:

After meeting Kaito at Koi's Brideshop and defeating a group of thugs, you will be asked to go downstairs. You are given 300 free chips while you are at the casino waiting for your informant and you need to double your chips for this trophy (earn 300 so you get a total of 600). This must be done during this section of the story, it cannot be done later. You can also only play one of the games (poker or blackjack) and once you stop playing the story advances so make a save when you are in the casino before starting any game so if you lose too many chips , you can start over.

The choice between the two games is up to you. In poker you can win faster but it's against 3 people so you're more likely to lose and you can't lure the AI ​​to fold that easily as there's no option to All In. Blackjack is just you against the dealer and is a more basic win condition, but you can't get that many chips that fast. Poker was my personal preference.

Note that if you make this trophy in NG+ you don't actually need to double the number of chips you start with (you keep all your chips from the first playthrough when you start NG+) you just need to earn another 300.

Once you earn the correct amount, you can exit the game and you will move on and talk to Ayabe. He will give you the information you requested and then you will have to return to the detective agency. As soon as you go outside, you will be attacked by a masked group of me with baseball bats before you can enter your office. After you head-butt them inward, then interact with the case materials on your desk to study them. You will then have to head to a company called Konban Wife to get more information. At the counter, select the shortest time and Kanae-chan. Some story events will happen, after which you will have to go to the Matsugane family office.

Go inside and talk to Matsugane in his room in the corner. You will then need to head to the Alps Café to meet Hamura. You'll be taken out to a back alley where you'll have to fight a bunch of thugs, with a small boss after you defeat the first guy. Once the fight is over, you'll be on the hunt to escape the thugs chasing you. After you complete the chase, the chapter will end.

Chapter 3 Choice

At the beginning of the chapter, you will have to go back to the detective agency to make sure Kaito is not there. He will, but you will find him surrounded by a bunch of thugs and a man named Hayashi who was a friend of Kaito when he was with the Matsugane family. You will then have to send him to the location, which turns out to be an arcade named Charles. Once you're outside, go into your inventory and put on the "Stakeout Style" disguise before heading inside. Once you're inside, try to go into the back office twice and then beat up the clerk to get back there.

After talking with Higashi, you will have to return to the office to talk to Kaito. Go through all the dialogues with him, then go to the Tender to see if you can meet Ayabe. It won't be there currently, but you'll be told about another side case that you'll have to complete in order to advance the story. Head to the marked location next to the Kamurocho Hills to meet the client. It's one of the masked thieves named Raven and he wants you to try and find the Jester for him, who was the masked man who helped you before. Head to Tenkaichi Alley where you first met the Jester by climbing the rooftop stairs.

When you get there, you'll notice a similar man on the opposite rooftop, but when you talk to him, it's just a man dressed as a Jester. Then you will have to go to Senreux Avenue, where you will notice a policeman chasing children. Then head to the Kamuro Theater Garden, which is the rooftop of the theatre, accessible by elevators. You will eavesdrop on some children and then must return to meet Crowe. You will find that a group of masked thieves are attacking a person and you will have to beat them up. Crow will appear and confront him, choosing the "Raven Oath" evidence, followed by "Used Accessory". After that, you will have to beat Crow to finish the side case. You can now accept side cases from Masuda in the tender.

Ayabe calls you and you give him the necessary information, and then you must return to the detective agency to wait for Ayabe to prepare the information. He will want 100 yen in exchange for information about the theft, so if you don't have much, you can complete some side cases to get more before progressing. After that, you will be tasked with finding information about a homeless man named "Red Nose" by talking to various homeless people. Head to the one on the northeast side of the map in the parking lot, who will ask you to try VR Arcade until he finds someone who might know about the person you are looking for. You don't need to win a VR course here to progress, finish it, win or lose, and then return to it to progress.

Then you will need to go to the Children's Park, but when you get there, you will be attacked by a group of homeless people. After you defeat them, one person informs you that Red Nose was found killed some time ago. Kaito appears, then you have to go to Charles to talk to Higashi again. Once you get there, you and Kaito will have to fight him along with a group of other Matsugane family members. After you defeat them, the chapter will end.

Chapter 4 Choice

Head to the Genda Law Office at the beginning of the chapter. You will enter a situation that you will now have to deal with.

Find the cat from the front window.

First look at the front of the fridge for a clue about ice melting, then look at the trash can next to the sofa to find out that the trash has been cleared.
This prompts you to explore the kitchen, where you must inspect the sink to find a clue about Saori's milk cartons.

You then begin a "trial" to determine if Hoshino is guilty of eating the cake.
The first choice is "Empty Trash Can" because Mafuyu came in after the trash would have been emptied, so if she had eaten the cake, the packaging would still be there.
Mafuyu presents a new clue about the planned power outage.
Choice: Choose Objection. Select "Saori Milk Carton" as evidence, then select the power outage notification.
Finally, select "Nobody" as the culprit for the missing cake.

Once this is over, head over to Charles to talk to Higashi about the previous evening's shooting.

He will say that you must warn Shintani about the yakuza, but first you will be interrupted by a phone call from the thugs who attacked the owner of the local shop in the last chapter. Go to the restaurant to help him. You will be met by a group of thugs, but you will end up fighting only one big guy.

Once you've completed the fight, you'll be given a threat level hint that determines how likely Keihen gang members are to attack you throughout the city.

You can then finally return to the Ganda Law Office to speak with Xintani. He won't be there, but Genda will give you the work you need to do at the same time.

Side case: Master and student
"Circle of Law"

Go to a meeting with a client in La Marche, where she will realize that her child has disappeared. Talk to the lady outside, he says she saw her heading to Nakamiti Street, who gives you an objective marker near the Sega club. Head there to find the girl, who will then head back to the law office with her mother.

You will then be tasked with doing some investigation into the allegations against the mother. Your first stop is the Marked Zone Love Hotel, right on the eastern edge of the ring zone. Interact with the sign, then you will fight the person and enter the investigation section.

Press :r1:

Back at the law office, you are tasked with presenting evidence that proves Karin's feelings about her parents' divorce. Select Torn Envelope and Ticket.

After another dialogue, the hotel receptionist will reappear, saying that he actually has another copy of the footage. Choose Buy (Genda will refund you and give you a significant amount extra), and you'll show the footage to a client proving Oikawa is a scammer, and it's over.

Cintani will now return to the office and you can warn him of the danger he is in now due to the trial. After you go outside, Kaito will call you and tell you to meet him at the Tender so you can talk to Ayabe about what's going on.

Then you and Kaito will head to KJ Art with the intention of talking to Murase about some business related to Kyorei. Climb up to your usual spot on the rooftop, then take out the drone and fly it over to the KJ Art building. Look in the top window at Murase's office, then click:sq:

Halfway back, you will be stopped by a phone call from Barka Tender, who will tell you to come because they are trying to find out how the lady who is always there does her living. They offer you a total of 90 yen if you win a bet that you have to accept because it's good easy money.

Side Case: Secret of the Socialite

Examine her shorts, hair and necklace. After viewing the necklace, inspect her hands to determine that she is probably single and does not have a job that could ruin her beautiful nails.
It doesn't matter what you choose as the answer, none of the three options will be correct. The bartender then offers to follow her to find out what she's up to.
After the first part of the tailings, she will send you a message saying that she is coming to you. Put on the Dirty Clothes disguise, then continue with the next section of the tailings.
When the tail is completed you will be outside of Koi Bride and then when you enter you will see Mari coming down the stairs. Climb down (just ignore that you still look like a tramp) and head to L'Amant to finish the job.

Return to your office now to finally end the day and this chapter.

Chapter 5 Choice

Active search: Verification mission

Before doing anything else, make sure the cat across the street is on your left.

The first places to check will be the ground next to the left shoulders of the body, the eyes, and the bullet holes in the chest. Yagami will then remark that you should check the phone, which will be under the right thigh on the ground.

You will then have to head to Genda's Law Office to talk to everyone else about what happened.

After the cutscene, talk to Hoshino and he will give you the office key, then talk to him again and ask him what he wants to talk about and Yagami will agree to let him help figure out what happened to the events surrounding the Shintani murder.

At this point, you can walk around town and do more side stuff or sleep on the couch to move on to the next day. As soon as you wake up in the morning, you will have to go to Charles to find out more clues about the murder.

When you get outside, there will be a person lying on the ground down the road from the office, and you will first go there to see what is wrong with him.

He will ask you to grab a plant for him that is on the other side of the fence, then he will introduce himself as the Dragon Palace Hermit and he will become a friend that you can then buy. However, you will be jumped over by a group of Keihen thugs and you will have to fight them off. One big guy guards most of your attacks and after a while you will be stopped by a hermit and he will give you an extract which is a consumable you can buy from him later. Take it and then beat up all the thugs. He will then give you the key to the Dragon Palace where you can meet him later. After the fight, you will go there and get acquainted with the extraction of the craft, then after you are done talking to him, you can go to Charles to continue the story.

In ADDK

After the cutscene, go to the lady at the front desk to ask about Shintani and then get another immediate cutscene.

The next section takes place in a flashback 3 years ago, when Yagami was working as a lawyer investigating the original murder that happened at ADDC. Follow Terasawa to the Victim's room.

Active Search - Verification Mission - Bed Examination

First of all, go to the window and look down to the right, to where the pillar under the sky bridge is. At the very bottom, on a square base, is a cat.

This is the room where you earn the missed trophy. Note that this takes place in the past, so you don't have investigative skills like rumble when you're near an investigative point. The purpose of the trophy is to basically sneak up on her by examining her face, her chest and rear. After you've viewed all three of these locations, and Yagami chides himself for looking, you'll earn the trophy.

As for the true purpose of the investigation, first inspect the top of the bed, right under the pillow. You should then consider the middle of the window, and then finally the door directly below the window. Chapter 6 Choice

First, log in to the administrator again. She will tell you where Shono is and then head to the map by the door to see how to get there.

After that, the administrator will stop you and introduce you to a research assistant who can take you to Shono. Once you're in the lab, go in and talk to Shono.

You will now return to Kamurocho and you will have to wait for Sugiura to call you about what he finds out. When you go somewhere, you will be quickly stopped by a person who introduces the mechanics of investing, go through the Quickstarter application. Its use is not required to progress the story immediately, but you need to invest in everything to complete the city mission. When you're ready to advance the story, head to the marked area that's right in front of the Tender and look at Kaito and the guy he's with.

Side Case: Partners

Yagami agrees to let Kaito go and work as a bodyguard for an old school friend named Adachi. Apparently a little time passes and you need to check them with Adachi's company address. He won't be marked on the map, but you must go to the location on his business card, Tenkaichi Alley, Yoshikawa Building, 3F. Head over there and you'll see Kaito with a bunch of injured guys on the ground around him. Then you will need to get information about the guy Kaito works for.

You can head to the Turtle Financing break room for one source of information. Talk to Kamaguchi (if you haven't already met him, he will be outside the building on the ground, decide to intervene and take out the thugs) and he will basically tell you that Adachi is a bad dude and you will then have to talk to Kaito about it. Then you will need to go to Kanrai to check what he is doing. When you get inside, put on your Stakeout disguise before heading near them to eavesdrop. You will meet Kaito outside and then you will have to fight him to stop him from going with Adachi. You then have to fight Adachi and a group of thugs he summons. You have a nice interaction with Kaito and then finish the job.

Sugiura will now call you and ask you to meet him at the Koi Bride. He tells you a bunch of information related to ADDC and the developer company that was published in an article in the previous year by your favorite reporter. Head to Genda's Law Office to meet him, though he won't be there anymore and you'll have a conversation with Mafuyu instead. When she leaves, talk to Hoshino to tell him about what Sugiura found out. He will then call you and tell you that some guys who look like yakuza have been following Mafuyu and you are on your way to help.

Follow the map marker and you will fight through three groups of thugs and then you will have a conversation with Mafuyu.

Sugiura will call you again and make you go to the Honmaruen cabaret on the northern part of the map where the men from the van went. When you get there, you will go inside and you will have to fight through several groups of guys. Once you get past the second group and are in the locker room head right between the two rows of lockers and pick up the Honmaruen key and then continue forward using it on the door with :r2:

When you enter the red carpet hallway, instead of going to the marker, take the first door to the right, which is locked, and then open the door in this room with the thumb turn bypass. In the nearby hallway, you pick up the skill book on the floor, which allows you to buy EX Reverse Beatdown from the skills menu. You can then head to the rooms across the hall for one or two items, but you can't get into the last few rooms right now. Head to the marker when you're ready and continue fighting through groups of thugs.

Once you get to the final room, a big battle awaits you against Shioya and a large group of thugs. Once you eliminate all the thugs and get Shioya into two health bars, he will summon them all back and start using his unblockable attacks. Make sure you make good use of the room size and your healing items, and use your EX Boost if you need to stop him doing too much damage with unlockables. You can also do extremely devastating EX combo attacks with Saito if you are near him at the right time.

Once you defeat him, the chapter ends.

Chapter 7 Choice

At the beginning of the chapter, you get a pretty big story dump and then you can head around Kamurocho or go back to the office to advance the story. After relaxing in the office to move on to the next day, you will have to go to the Genda Law Office to talk to others.

Hoshino will hand over a bit more information about the murder, then you'll have to head to L'Amant to meet someone at Ayabe's house for information about the death. When you go outside, you will be greeted by a large group of guys who are looking for a bad time. Beat them up with Kaito and then head to L'Amant.

Go behind the bar and approach the lady with glasses. She will tell you something, then you can talk to her. Yagami gets a completely wrong idea, then you find out it's Mafuyu who is here instead of Ayabe and gives you information about the murder. Talk to Kaito twice to continue the story dialogue and then travel to the place where they found Hashiki's body.

You then head to The Queen Rouge where you try to get some information from the owner, but he doesn't bite. Kaito comes up with a plan to get him a girl to work there in exchange for a membership to get in, and the guy takes a real hard liking to Saori. Then you need to figure out where the best place would be to bribe her. To choose:

Head to the marked location to find a new candy shop. Walk up to two guys in suits that look like they're scaring the guy in green. You tell them to scrum and then quickly make them scrum. The owner thanks you by giving you one of the special mochi for free, then you have to go to the law office to give it to Saori. Genda interrupts you before you can try to bribe her and says that he has some business to discuss.

After all your business discussions, you are instructed to go to La Marche to buy a dress for Saori. MAKE A SAVE BEFORE YOU GO TO THE HAIR SALON. After this section, there is one of the main trophies and you cannot save until this section is completed, so you need to start over if you mess up.

When Saori gets dressed, choose what you like, you don't really pay anything right now, and then answer her with whatever answer you want. Head to the marked salon and do the same for Saori's hair and makeup. Be kind and try to make it fit though it's mostly up to you what you do.

You then play as Saori in first person, following Yagami to the club. You then continue to play as her while in the club trying to get information. The following conversation options are the ones you need to select in order to earn The Art of Conversation trophy. If you choose the wrong answer, you will not earn the trophy at the end and will have to reload your save.

After the cutscene, you will return to the role of Yagami, reliving what happened to him when Saori was at the club. Kaito will call you as soon as you go to do something and ask you to come to Public Park Three. Go there when you want to progress.

Side Case: Police Captain

Kaito is currently entertaining a young child who has taken a liking to him after he stopped some Yakuza from capturing him. You head to the marked area to find the baby's father.

First, head to the back of the area near the truck, behind the upside down sign you will see a cat.

For real purposes, the first thing to examine is a baseball bat on the ground, on the right side of the direction you're in at the start, sitting to the left of a single orange cone. Then you should inspect the overturned boxes right across the road. The crates will be moved out of the way, then you have to inspect the fabrics on the ground that were under them.

Kaito then calls you asking you to pick up some Bento for the baby. Head to the one just around the corner and grab one if you don't already have one, then head back to Kaito. He doesn't recognize the name, but the kid knows he's in bad business. Go to the marked location on Tenkaichi Street. Head up the stairs to Turtle Finance and talk to Kamaguchi about them and he will give you the address. It marks a spot for you on East Taihei Boulevard, next to a taxi stand. Head over there and Yagami will notice a suspicious looking guy who looks just like the kid described and talk to him. It turns out that this is the father of the child, and you are taking him back to Kaito. However, the Yakuza managed to capture him, so you offer to help get him back. Kaito comes up with a plan and you head over to Captain Cop of the heck Yakuza dudes and finish the job.

You will then have to head to Theater Square where you will be attacked again by the Keihen clan along with a new one of the 4 main leaders. He blocks a fair amount, so you'd be better off hitting him with every available chair if you can. Once he's beaten up, you can go back to the detective agency to wait for Saori's call.

When you get back there, Saori will call you and inform you that she is going to the Tender and you will have to go there. Talk to Saori at the bar and you will start talking to Mika about what she heard. Review all conversation options, after which you will guide Saori back to the office. After some discussion with the group, you will have to return to the detective agency to rest for tomorrow.

Now you need to take a taxi to go to the prosecutor's office. You now have a pleasant conversation with the chief prosecutor and a few others about the events surrounding Shintani's death. Select options:

Chapter 8 Choice

After a few more cutscenes at the start of the chapter, you'll have to head to the Law Office to pick up Hoshino and then take a taxi to the police station to talk to Ayabe. Once this is done, you will return to Kamurocho and you will need to find a way to meet Matsugane in order to talk to him. Head to Charles' Game Center and the back room to talk to Higashi, who says he'll see if he can contact Matsugane so you can talk to him. You'll just have to wander around a bit with Kaito following you, and then eventually he'll call and tell you to take a taxi to a restaurant to meet Matsugane.

After some story stuff you will have to fight Higashi along with a bunch of other normal enemies, Higashi has 3 health bars and uses a knife for the first 1,5, then you knock him out with a QTE and he will start doing lethal attacks. Get the little guys out first to clear the area, then should be able to just handle him pretty easily. After the fight, you talk to Matsugane again and then return to Kamurocho.

Kaito suggests going to Matsugane's office to try and track down Hamura's whereabouts. You'll have to travel to Tsukumo to get his wire while Kaito tracks down Sugiura to get his help, effectively getting into the office. He asks for 100 yen to get parts and assemble one for you. He then says that it will take a little time to assemble it, so you will have to drive around the city and complete some other things at the same time while you are waiting. He'll call you to pick it up when he's ready, and then after you do, you'll have to go back to the detective agency.

Sugiura says it would be impossible to sneak into the office, but Kaito comes up with a plan to dress you up in disguises to get inside. Apparently he works at a club on Emerald Street and you get a mark on your map to head west of the law office. Talk to the guy outside and he will tell you that Tashiro took a recalcitrant customer to Tenkaichi alley to deal with him. Head to the alley west of Turtle Finance/Lullaby Majong where you will find Tashiro, the harassing man.

Tashiro is very weak, so quickly beat him up and take his clothes, then head to the office and meet Sugiura outside. Head upstairs into the building and you'll be alone, with a 5 minute timer to find three exits.

GET A CAT FIRST. He sits in the window in the opposite corner of the room, you can just see him under the gap in the blinds.

Now for the exits, for the first look at the plant to the right of the cat. It will be moved out of the way and you will find one exit behind. From there, head all the way to the left on the same wall, and in the corner there is a second exit near the lamp. Then make 180 and turn to the door you entered, to the right of it you will see the third socket. Yagami says that he wants to put it in Matsugane's room, head over there, and to the left of the small TV sitting in the corner, you should be able to see it. After that, you can finish your investigation and hit the road. Before you can leave you will be spotted and some guys will come and you will have to fight some guys to get away.

Once outside, the guys immediately call Hamura and you find out that he is in some kind of gambling place. Head to L'Amant to see if you can find someone who knows where to play the game that was mentioned. There are some colorful characters in L'Amant that you can talk to, but the guy you want to talk to is the one in the flower shirt standing at the door. He says he knows a place to play but will only tell you the name if you can put him with the lady in the blue dress at the poker table. She says she will drink with you and your friend if you can beat her at poker. It is only necessary to win one hand, after which she agrees to drink.

The first guy then gives you information about the hall of dice. It's the only store in Champion District without a sign. To enter, tap the shutter 3 times, then say "May I speak to Luna". They will reply "What kind of steak did you get", to which you will say "Chateaubriand, blue". This is important information for a missed trophy that you do right away. Kaito comes down to meet you, then both of you go to the Champion District to find the store. Head to the very southeast corner of the shop to find a shutter door.

You will walk right in the middle of the gambling hall and provoke a big fight with almost everyone. It's not too difficult compared to previous fights and there aren't many enemies. Hamura only has two health bars and Ozaki only has three. Try to do the usual and take out the little fry first, then focus on Ozaki and Hamura. Once you get Hamura down one bar, he will instigate a quick time where he throws a pillow at you and you press:about:


Chapter 9 Choice

At the beginning of the chapter, you should head to Kyushu No.1 Star to talk to reporter Hattori, who has done a lot of research on AD-9 and probably has some vital information on the case. He'll give you a little rundown on Alzheimer's and how AD-9 is meant to treat it, then once your conversation is over you need to head back to the detective agency. When you're ready, sit on the couch to discuss your findings with the boys. You'll go through a short dialogue and then talk to Hoshino again when you're ready to continue. Talk to him again and then make the following dialogue choices:

Six months ago, when Hashiki died.

Sugiura suggests that knowing whether Okuba is actually innocent or not is the key to knowing the truth, as it establishes whether he killed Waku three years ago or whether it was the result of the AD-9 experiment. Hoshino will make an appointment to talk to him, but until then, you must head to the Law Office to check the case file again. You have a long discussion with Genda about some past events, then Hoshino asks you to meet him in a nearby taxi to talk to Okubo.

After talking with Okubo, you will return to Kamurocho and have to go to the Tender. When you go outside, you will be stopped by Kuroiwa and then quickly attacked by a mysterious man with a sword. He will immediately start making lethal attacks, so be sure to stay away from him as he charges up the swing. As long as you can avoid them, you should be fine, as he only has 3 health bars and doesn't deal much damage otherwise.

After you beat him up, Kaito offers to stay at KJ Art since none of the men associated with Matsugane will try to mess with you there. Travel with Hoshino to meet up with Kaito and Sugira. Head up to the 5th floor via the main staircase, then the fire escape to meet Murase. Yagami and Sugira decide to go to ADDC to "meet" Shono. Catch a taxi to go there when you're ready.

Once you're there, go to the lady at the front desk to inquire about where Shono is. Sugira spots him on the stairs.

Active Search - Search Mission: "Find Shono"

FIND THE CAT FIRST. Look to your right and head towards the window, you should notice a cat sitting outside.

Now, in order to notice Shono, if you look through the glass barrier at the top of the stairs, you should see him on the left on the floor above, then he will come up to stand next to the other two explorers right near the top of the stairs. You can also find other explorers for more SP before you end your search.

Before you can approach him, Ichonos will stop you. After you're done talking, go in and talk to the assistant you had a brief conversation with before he allowed you to enter the lab on your first visit. The new plan is to sneak into the hospital wing and catch Shono as he makes his morning rounds. Look inside your head and look at the map. There are a few places you can look at, but the only thing you need to progress is the entrance to the underground parking in the lower left corner of the hospital building.

At the exit you will be stopped by the ADDC security and escorted, although not to a good place. Security has orders to make sure you don't come into the building again, and that includes hitting you with a shock baton. The guy with the club is really the only dangerous enemy, the rest don't do much. You can also block the relay without taking damage, just avoid when he makes lethal attacks. Once they are defeated, you steal two of their uniforms as disguises and head to the parking lot of the hospital.

Once inside, head to the elevator door and interact with it. Yagami will say that they will wait here until the morning. The next segment is a series of fights in the hospital as you chase after Shono. The first group is a bunch of scientists (why are you hitting them?) who all go down a few hits each. The next group is 3 guards, but you only have 30 seconds to deal with them, so don't be afraid to use EX attacks here. The next group is again 3 guards, including the shock baton from the previous one, but you have 3 minutes to do so, so it shouldn't be too bad. This time he has 3 health bars, but if you take out the other two guards first, he is very easy to deal with on his own. After that, you grab Shono and interrogate him. When prompted, select:

This is where the chapter ends.


Chapter 10 Choice

Drone Search Mission: Search Mode - "Infiltrate the Matsugane Family Office"

From the very beginning of the chapter, you will be using the drone to spy on the Matsugane office building. Fly to the second floor of the window where you can see the guys and inspect it to continue (there is no cat in this area).

You and Kaito will exit the van to follow Higashi as he leaves the office. This is the first tailspot in the game that actually requires moderate effort to complete, as Hayashi has several other people with it who will stop and look around as you go. It's best to stay on the opposite side of the street from the start, this keeps the group in sight around the buildings and there are more places to hide. Move forward to the white truck and hide behind it, then wait for one guy to stop blinding the girl and then return to the group. You should have a red spot marked ahead that you move on to progress more. The guy might stop and turn around again at some point before he gets back into the group, so don't move too fast behind him or you'll get stuck in the middle of the road.

One of the guys disappears, so one less thing to worry about. The squad heads to the lower floor of the Millennium Tower and they spread out while Hayashi starts talking on the phone. What you want to do here is move to the second pillar forward from the door to keep Higashi in sight. The other two guys will wander around the area for a bit, but won't notice you when you're standing in that spot, so just keep Hayashi in sight so you don't lose track of him.

After he finishes talking on the phone, the group will go to the opposite side of the lobby, follow them up the stairs, and then hide in the marked area while Higashi is in the smoking area. The gang will head outside to the door on the opposite side of the smoking room, where you should just go sit in a hideout in a nearby factory, as the game will want you there as soon as they get outside the building. The other guy will leave and you can continue to follow. Next, don't go too far ahead, one guy will stop near the group of guys at the car while Higashi walks ahead, then Higashi will come back and pick him up. You can hide inside the restaurant while this is happening, just make sure Higashi doesn't see you through the windows. Keep moving forward a little more, hiding behind one of the many objects, then move towards the last spot to complete the tail.

Higashi doesn't even wait for you to say the word and then run after him and you have to chase him. He tells you that all family members have orders to contact Hamura if they see Yagami or Kaito, so the plan is to get them seen so you can draw them out. Basically just walk around, buy some things, do what Kaito suggests. After a while, he will offer you to try to get drunk, and then you need to go to the Tender.

You will talk to Marich at the bar and this is where you will really gain her as a friend. She bets you on how many drinks the other guy at the bar can have before going to the bathroom again.

Active search: when will the man use the toilet? - "Watch the person"

You can watch a man's shoulder and face for extra SP, but what you really want to do is look at his drink. When it's done Marie will ask what is your rate and you have to choose:

He will go for two more drinks.

If you choose the other option, you're both wrong, so you won't lose here on purpose. Once you're done, you'll get half the level of Marich's friends and then leave Tender. Kaito brings you some grief and then offers to go to one of the Matsugane clubs that is marked on the map for you. There are a few Matsugane thugs on the street messing around with the owners and you quickly beat them up. Yagami gets the idea to try hitting other Matsugane clubs to get as much attention as possible and you'll have three marked on your map to introduce yourself. After you've visited all three, go for a walk and Kaito will offer to go to the Champion District, as it's less crowded. You will be jumped by a group of guys, but they are relatively easy to pull out. After they all go downstairs, you will have to chase the last guy to get information about Hamura from him.

After a bit of history, you and Sugira head to the Solei building to try and find Hamura. If you don't want to go in right away, you can tell him that you're not ready yet and you can go and do the side stuff, but if you let him know, you'll break through.

The first room you enter, your cane-wielding friend will return (though this time he only wields a knife). Once you take him out he will go away and the 4 grunts will get up again and you will have to knock them out again. Once you beat them and head to the next room, he will be waiting, this time wielding a large bladed staff. Beat him again and he will drop his staff and run away some more.

Head up the stairs and in the next room you will be introduced to the light trick here. Press the green switch on the floor to turn on the light, then hold the lock on the door to the minute timer. There's a guy in the next room with a gun on the far end that you have to get to quickly if you can and then knock out the rest. Climb up to the third floor.

Cane Man cuts out again, leaving some grunts to try and deal with you (bad). In the next room, he fights again, but this time his cane is a shotgun. It doesn't deal massive damage if you get hit, but every hit does lethal damage, so try to keep it visible at all times so you can avoid getting shot. This is a good place to use EX boost on him if you have it so you can get past his lethal attacks and bring him down quickly and then use any bar and medkit EX items to heal mortal wounds before heading to the fourth floor .

The lights have been turned off in this room again, but there are actually guys in here. Turns on the lights when you enter so you can actually fight them and then head up the stairs to the next floor. Another short one, turn on the lights and head through the gaps in the boxes to get to the enemies at the end and then go up to the next floor. There is a medical kit at the top of the stairs and it is highly recommended to use it now if you have a high amount of lethal damage.

Three more guys, then another lock to pick. Then you get to the last room where you fight the Cane Man and Sugira will be grabbed and pulled out so you will have to do it alone. Try to quickly turn on the light at the back of the room under the pile of chairs, and know that the Cane Man will immediately start making deadly attacks on you. You can make good use of all the furniture in this room as it will stun him more and the EX attacks using him deal a lot of damage. Once you get him about halfway through his yellow health bar, he will draw his Classic Sword and attempt to immediately hit you with lethal attacks. You can't block his sword attacks, so your best bet is still swinging at him with furniture. You can use EX's attack to overcome his lethal attack and your regular furniture swing will wobble him after one hit most of the time. Once he is knocked out, he stays forever and you can head to the next room.

In this final room, you have to fight Hamura. It only has 3 health bars, but you can't lean on furniture like you did in the previous room. If you've taken a lot of lethal damage before you can use a health pack from your inventory during a fight, which is helpful. Hamura isn't too tough here, he's pretty slow and wobbles easily if you use Tiger's charged attacks. Once you get him about halfway through his yellow health bar, he initiates a quick time where you have to press:about:


Chapter 11 Choice

The chapter starts with you interrogating Hamura about the Mole. Choose from the following options:

Once you're done interrogating Hamura, you must safely get him and Matsugane out of the building, stopping the other Matsugane members from attacking him and freeing Hamura. You will always try to stay as close to them as possible, as the enemies will just walk straight towards the Matsugana most of the time, so use Crane's style to try to hit several at once and keep them away. You can use throws to knock some down, and once you're out of the first room, you can move forward a bit and get the guys out before the two following you enter the room. When you get to the locked door, use :r2:

In the next room, you have to fight Ozaki alone. He's not too tough and you've fought him before with a lot of enemies around. When you lead him to his yellow bar, you will fall through the floor into a smaller room, but it doesn't get much harder other than using lethal attacks.

You'll get a big dump of stories and then return to Kamurocho where you can wander around again or return to the detective agency to end the day. When you return to your office, you will be stopped by Matsuhisa Koga, who is the last of the Keihin gang leaders you encounter. You will have to take him and his thugs out before you can return to your office. This guy is probably one of the most annoying enemies so far, as he throws flashbang grenades at you, and when you drop him about half a bar, he pulls out two pistols and starts firing at you, which deals lethal damage with every hit .

When you return to the office, Sugira will be waiting for you. He lets you know that Kaito is fine, then you can relax on the couch to move the story forward. You are then woken up by a phone call from Mafuya, saying that another murder has taken place in front of the Matsugane family's office. Head there when you're ready, and then the chapter will end.


Chapter 12 Choice

After several cut-scenes at the beginning of the chapter, you will have to return to the detective agency. Before you can get inside, you will be stopped by Hattori, who will let you know that Chairman Kajihira wants to talk to you about what's going on. Go upstairs to meet Kaito, then go to one of the taxi stops to go to the location to meet the chairman. Hatotori suggests trying to stalk Kido for more information on the truth of AD-9, and you will do so by exploiting his misogynistic habits. Once you return to Kamurocho, return to the detective agency to end the day.

The next day, you have to go to the law office to try and convince Saori to help you again. When you talk to her, you are actually making responses to both her and Yagami, so just keep choosing the left option for her to agree to help. She heads to the salon to get her makeup done again, choose what you want and you don't have to dress her up this time. After Saori will go to ADDC. Yagami will meet her on the way and give her the camera and earpiece you use to help her with the interrogation. Choose from the following options:

Cancel another button.

After that, you will return to Kamurocho with Kaito and you need to go to the whipping center to meet Sugiura who is waiting to catch Kido. Get in the van as soon as it pulls up. Head to the Batting Center to try and grab Kido, but first you'll be stopped by a large group of thugs who don't want you to take him. There is nothing special about this fight other than the fact that it has a very large number of guys, although you also have all three of Kaito, Sugiura and Higashi fighting you. Once they are all defeated, you bring Kido to Charles to interrogate him.

Talk to Kido once, then you will be outside with Sugiura. Talk to him again if you want to continue, or you can run around and do other things for a while. When you're ready to go back inside and talk to Kido again. If possible, select the following options:

Ikinose from the Ministry of Health.

Now the plan is to try and find Ishimatsu, who was the go-between between Hamura and Shono, and is the other person who knows where the lab is set up, that Shono was doing AD-9 experiments on humans. You and Sugiura head to the Millennium Tower to try and catch him as he leaves after you use Kido to lure him out to go to the lab. You can tell Sugiura that you're not ready yet and then make a save before launching the tail.

Determine the target: find Ishimatsu

At the beginning, you should notice a guy in a tuk to your left, this is obviously not the same guy, but other people will not start coming until you do this. After that, wait for people to enter the first floor, then find the guy who stops at the escalator and starts talking on the phone. Exit back and take the first door where you can grab the Stamimam X from the ground. Now head towards the marked progress door, which you will have to choose.

This is where you earn the Hung Jury trophy where you have to save Sugiura with 10 seconds left on the timer. You only have two guys to fight and they aren't too dangerous, so your best bet is to defeat one (preferably the stronger guy) and then lower the other guy's health a bit so you can take him out once the timer is at 10 seconds. You basically just want to run around the room as soon as you have one low health guy left. If he grabs you, be very careful, you'd better just let him throw, because when you do a grapple, pressing:x:

After leaving the room again and going down the corridor, you will see that there is a guy down there. Don't get close to it yet, go downstairs first and grab another "massage machine" from the side room. Head back up and down the corridor and you'll pinch the gimp so you can get past. There is a cool looking guy in the next room, but he quickly goes downstairs. The "Executioner" falls from the ceiling and you have to deal with it. He takes a sledgehammer with which he will attack you and never drops it, but he is still quite light. He won't do lethal attacks, but he can get through your regular Tiger style attacks, including if you start comboing hits, so be aware of your health. He will also hit Sugiura very hard if he gets hit, but he will just get knocked down and then regenerate his health so don't worry about that.

Once you defeat him, you will get a bunch of story and the chapter will end.


The final

Once you start the chapter, you will have to go to the Tender to meet Mafuyu, who thinks she is being followed. She says she's on her way to the Children's Park to get Morita's case file and wants you and Kaito to come with her just in case. Talk to her again when you're ready to hit the road, or you can do other things right now before progressing.

Once outside, you will immediately be attacked and you will have to protect Mafuya on the way to the Children's Park. During this section, she will cheer you up, which will heal you and replenish your EX gauge, so be sure to keep the thugs away from her. Once you get to the Children's Park, you'll have to find a contact who turns out to be a familiar face. Once that's done, you'll have to get Mafuyu home. She wants to talk to Saori first, so head to the law office. After this chat, you must guide Mafuyu to a taxi so she can return home. Izumida calls her and Yagami says that he will meet him at the Mijore cafe instead of her to talk about some things. Go there when you're ready.

When you get there, choose the following option:

After you finish the discussion, return to the detective agency. In the morning, the gang lays out a plan and you can choose who you want to talk to first and what to do.

Higashi

Higashi says that after Matsugane died and Hamura disappeared, the family basically fell apart. A guy named Kengo is trying to save the world, but something is wrong. You need to go with him to the Family Office to find out what's going on. Kengo wants to know who the Mole is so they can get revenge, but won't listen to reasoning about why they can't, so you must defeat them. Kengo is extremely dangerous in this room with a lot of other people, as he has a sword that you can't block and will immediately make lethal attacks. If you see him finishing up, your best bet is to try and get as far away from him as possible. Remember that you can pause and use items from your inventory if needed, so don't be afraid to stop and heal your health or pull extracts here. After you've dealt with them, all Yagami reveals who the Mole is and they more or less agree to back off and let it play out in court.

Sugiura

Your goal for Sugiura is to talk to Okubo again and let him know that Amy's family members know that he wasn't the real killer now. Sugiura can't come, but he wants you to deliver a message. Take one of the taxis to go to the detention center to meet him. When prompted, make the following choices:

Hoshino

Hoshino wants to use the blackmail you still have on him to get Kido to testify in court. Take a taxi after talking to him to go to ADDC. When there is, oh, through all the dialogue options with Kido. He's not influenced by anything you have to say right now, but says he'll cooperate if he thinks you can actually win.

Once you've gone through all three branches, head back to the detective agency. Sugiura is waiting for you outside and asks if you are ready for the trial. The game will tell you that you are basically nearing the end of the game now, and you should make a save here just in case. Once you progress, you will no longer be able to do free roaming activities until you complete the story.

Once you're ready, Sugiura says to go to the law office to talk to Hoshino. When you get there though Izumida will be there and says that Ichinose will speak at the trial. Mafuyu then calls you saying that the police are raiding L'Amante and you decide to go there to befriend the higher ranks.

After talking with Morita, Kuroiwa arrives and you finally have to fight him. Even though Kaito is coming, you have to do it one on one and this is the hardest fight so far. Kuroiwa can do many moves similar to your own, such as wall jumps and backbends. Be aware if he starts running towards the wall that he will try to jump at you, so it's best not to approach him again until he lands. Once you give him 1,5 health bars he will throw you into a bar and you have to do it quickly, :x:

You get some more history and the game even fades to black before Willian is revealed, and then you skip ahead in time to the date of Ayabe's trial.

Make a save right now as there is a missed trophy during the job. You can talk to everyone in the office and then you interact with the door to go to court.

During the trial, you must present all the evidence correctly, first try to earn The Final Nail trophy. Follow the options below to present all the evidence correctly:

The last nail will appear right after making the above choice.

You will then return to Kamurocho in an attempt to stop Kuroiwa's murder. You will have to go to the Theater Square, but along the way you will be stopped by a large number of thugs. These are all pretty common thugs and you have all 3 of your boys helping you out. Continue to make your way to Theater Square along the marked path. You will only have two groups of guys to go through, with the second one having some heavier named enemies. Once you get through them, you'll find out that Kuroiwa headed to the ADDC with the goal of taking out Shono, so you're heading there.

You are stopped by a large group of cops on your way inside, and you have to fight your way through to get to Kuroiwa. After the first group, Kaito and Higashi will stay behind to keep reinforcements away from you while you and Sugiura go ahead to fight a few more guys. Keep in mind that in this group, after you take out a couple of guys, the rest will start to draw their weapons, so try to take out the regular police first. After that, you will have to go to the research wing.

Active Search Mode: Search Mission - Search for the Golden Key Card

Before you do anything, find the last cat. This one is just past the bridge to the research wing, on the ground by a tree. If you got all the previous cats during the main missions, then Oh Look Cat! burst.

Now to find the keycard, there are a bunch of dots you can look for on each guard for extra SP, but the place you need to check is the gold flash on the left guard's thigh (Sugiura's guy isn't standing nearby).

Once you get it, you can end your search and head through the door. Before you can get in, Kuroiwa blows up the bridge. thus, you must go through the underground parking.

There you will run into the police and Mr. Shock Batton again. Same deal as previous fights, take out the grunts first and then go after the main guy after. You can't block the relay, so stay away if he swings at you. All grunts will draw their weapons immediately, but they can be drawn quickly before they can do much with them.

You will have a short walk in first person, and then you will go to the research wing in search of Shono and Kuroiwa. You will find them and then you will have one last confrontation with Kuroiwa. This fight is similar to the previous one, he still uses his wall jumps and attacks you in a similar way. Once you get it down two bars, it will knock you out into the main area of ​​the research wing, giving you more room to maneuver. I found a good way to deal with him is to use the furniture around the area, using it to interrupt his lethal attacks like you did with Hamura in the previous chapter. If you have all the damage upgrades at this point in the game, you can break through a nearly full health bar by using one of the EX attacks with one of the sofas in the main room.

But wait, this is not the end. Kuroiwa pulls himself out of the window and injects himself with a needle, and he is back to full health. You can deal with him in the same way by continuing to blast him with furniture EX ATTACKS and then when he uses his death attacks and then hit him when he staggers to bring back the EX meter.

Congratulations! You have now completed the story of the Court. You can continue clearing what you have left in the open world after the story in Premium Adventure.
