The Winding Road Home is a world quest guide for Genshin Impact, added with the 1.6 update. This quest is with elemental monuments and the correct order to activate them.
In order to unlock access to the “Winding Road Home” quest, you must first complete Chapter II: “Whirlpool? Full speed ahead!”. After that, you need to play the mini-game once.
Walkthrough of the task “The Winding Road Home”
Execution steps:
- Find the fairy at the top of the canyon on Dangerous Island to start and follow the quest.
- Activate all elemental monuments in the correct order
- follow the fairy
Now let's go into more detail:
Use the teleport point located on the Dangerous Island of the Golden Apple archipelago. There, find the fairy using our screen below. She will sit on the other side of the canyon, not far from the teleport point.
After contact with the fairy, she will begin to fly deep into the canyon. Dive after it and you will end up at the elemental monument.
The symbols of the elements will appear on the monument, in the following order:
- Cryo
- Anemo
- Pyro
- Hydro
Now you need to activate the monuments in this order. The first was cryo and it is located nearby, right by the water:
Run up, just hit him and he will activate! The next anemo, and it is right there, only on the back side of the puddle of the reservoir:
The third monument is pyro. If you go into the water, you will fall under the influence of the wind current and it will begin to lift you up. That's where the pyro monument is hidden. You can just use a pyro archer, for example, Ember and shoot him. And yes, sorry for the arrows on the screenshots, I drew in puff))
The last monument is hydro. It is located on the same top as the pyro, but it is very hard to see it. Use the hydro archer and all the statues will be activated!
It remains for us to follow the fairy and the task will be completed. Just jump into the glowing purple ball and that's it!
