Gilded Dreams - A set of Genshin Impact artifacts for dealing damage with elemental reactions. The passive is made for Catalysis, but in principle it is suitable for any reactions, without being tied to an element.

4 subject: For 8 sec. after calling an elemental reaction according to the elements of other characters in the squad, the character equipped with these artifacts receives the following enhancements: attack power is increased by 14% for each character with the same element as the equipped character; Elemental Mastery is increased by 50. for each character with a different element. Each of these buffs counts up to 3 characters. The effect can occur once every 8 sec. Triggers even if the character equipped with these artifacts is not on the battlefield.

The set gives a total of up to 230 Elemental Mastery in a pack of different elements, which is valuable for any transformation reactions (Overload, Dispel, Bloom, Vegetate, etc.).

Can serve as a source of Elemental Mastery for supports that buff a stack of Elemental Mastery (Kazuha, Sucrose, Nahida).

For Steam and Melt, it usually loses somewhat to other options that buff the damage of the main DD or directly the reaction. But it is quite applicable if the set has good substats. Also, it is desirable to get at least a little Attack from the passive instead of Elemental Mastery.

The set's passive effect does not apply to the damage that triggered this effect, nor does it apply to the reaction covered by that damage.

To whom does Gilded Dreams

For Al-Haytham, Gilded Dreams is the best set for Catalysis, provided that the other character in the pack is wearing a full set of Deep Forest Memories and has no problems with activating the passive. Otherwise, it is better to give the Memoirs to Al-Haytham himself.

When using Electro DD for Catalysis, Gilded Dreams are also good, for example, for Saino.

Gilded Dreams are also suitable for sub-DDs that cover reactions from the pocket. For example, Shinobu can close the Vegetation with his Grass Ring.

For Nahida in Catalysis, there is an opportunity to be both active and pocket damage dealer. In both cases, there must be another character in the pack that will debuff Dendro resistances with Memories of the Deep Forest, otherwise it would be better to give Memories to Nahida herself.
