Explore the Land of Tsushima
You play as Jin, a disgraced samurai traveling through the land of feudal Japan, in the midst of a Mongol invasion. You can travel through the vast open world environment on foot or horseback, over hills and forests that depict the beauty of the ancient land.
Use the guiding wind to find your way
When you travel over land, you can mark a point on the map and literally let the wind guide you to that place. With the Guiding Wind feature, you will be able to see the wind streak guiding you to your destination .
Find Shrines and Landmarks for Upgrades and Resources
There are several places and shrines hidden in the land of Tsushima. Shrines, side quests and precious materials can be found everywhere. Keep your eyes open for any items.
Melee and ranged combat
Duel (duel) with enemies
Like a noble samurai you can summon your enemies and fight them face to face in Stand Off mode . Make split-second decisions to find their opening and destroy the enemies that stand in front of you.
Long range bow and arrows
Jin can also be a skilled marksman, able to kill enemies from afar with their bows . A carefully placed shot can be as deadly as a blade around the neck.
Racks (positions), to counter types of enemies
Jin has mastered many positions and forms to use in combat. Each stance has a strength and weakness for each enemy type . Assess your situation methodically and execute an accurate counterattack.
Stealth Game
Use the enemy's fear to your advantage
Under the guise of the infamous "Ghost", Jin will be able to use the very fear that haunts your enemies to destroy them . Distract, execute and destroy the morale of your enemies who fear the Ghost
Use Shinobi Gadgets to Manipulate Enemies
Like a Ghost you will have some ninja gear, which will help you match the hordes of enemies. Use the grappling hook to move, kunai to quickly take enemies out of range, and smoke bombs to sneak into the shadows.

You will be able to customize Jin to your liking with any armor and equipment you find. These armors have their own characteristics to complement different playstyles. Find the gear that suits you best.
