The viral mashup of The Squid Game and Genshin Impact shows just how incredible a crossover between the two will be, despite the number of endangered adorable characters.
people like Squid game with internet clippings, memes and general talk about the latest version of Netflix since it premiered in September 2021. Fans also appear in digital art, with crossovers from everything including cosmetic ideas and fashions.
The Genshin Impact community also collaborated with popular characters from the miHoYo ARPG. One that's going viral is a YouTuber's video" genshashin » , which shows what a proposed Squid Game event might look like.
While the premise of the series' various trials and challenges is easy to replicate, we doubt we'll see Genshin's beloved characters being eliminated in the same way. But Genshashin's video gave us a glimpse of what it might look like.
“After binge watching the Squid Game last week, this video just begged to be taken down,” the YouTuber said. "In addition, this is probably the first video in my life that features all the playable characters of Genshin Impact to date."
Dozens of characters were introduced in the crossover, with favorites like Segkn Raiden, Kazuha, Genie, Kujo Sarah, and, well, all the rest of the travelers from the game being among them. Klee even played the role of the creepy doll from the Green Light, Red Light challenge used in the Netflix TV show.
No show spoilers, but Genshashin also managed to intertwine the RPG gameplay a bit with some of the nuances that could be found in the series.
As for the disqualified characters, the director found a clever way to make them move naturally without feeling stunted or awkward.
"If you're wondering why it's mostly pyro users that explode in the Squid Game video, it's because I wanted to select idle games that used an 'external force' to make the character move (e.g. Xin Yan with a frog, Baal with a bird) , - said Genshashin . "It just so happens that it's mostly pyro characters that do this lol."
A lot of incredible Squid Game crossovers have been released since the series went viral, and we can't wait to see what else the Genshin community comes up with.
