Normal attack

Normal attack
Up to six bow shots.
Charged attack
More accurate aimed shot with increased damage. While aiming, the arrowhead is charged with an icy aura. The effect depends on the duration of the arrow charge:
Charge Level 1: Fires an ice arrow that deals cryo damage;
Charge Level 2: Fires a snowflake arrow that deals cryo damage. On hit, the snowflake arrow blooms and inflicts cryo damage by area.
Attack in the fall
Swiftly falls to the ground, attacking all enemies on the way. Upon landing, deals area damage.

Combat Skill
Gan Yu jumps back, leaving Ice Lotus in front of him, which inflicts Cryo splash damage.
ice lotus:
Attracts enemy attacks to itself;
Max. Ice Lotus HP depends on max. HP Gan Yu.
If the Ice Lotus is destroyed or its time expires, it will bloom, inflicting Cryo splash damage.

Gathers frost from the air in order to summon the Pearl of the Soul, expelling evil.
While the skill is active, Soul Gems continuously rain shards of ice at enemies in an area, inflicting cryo damage.
Gan Yu can create sweet rain for you, but for demons and heretics, it turns into bitter freezing snow.

Passive Skills of Gan Yu

Undivided heart
Unlocked at Ascension level 1.
Within 5 sec. after shooting a snowflake arrow, it increases the chance of crit. hit by snowflake arrows and the bloom they cause by 20%.

Harmony of Earth and Heaven
Unlocked at 4 levels of Ascension.
Active squad members in the area of the skill heavenly rain, receive 20% bonus cryo damage.

Set aside for the hunt
Unlocks automatically
When forging small arms, returns 15% of the ore spent.

Hit by a snowflake arrow with a charge level of 2 or its bloom reduces cryo resistance enemies by 15% for 6 seconds;
The hit also restores 2 points. the energy of Gan Yu. Each hit with a Charge Level 2 Charged Attack can only restore Power once, regardless of whether it was a Snowflake Arrow hit or a Snowflake Bloom.

Cryo support build

Gan Yu is the best Cryo sub-DPS due to her high damage and uptime of her skills even when she is not on the field.

Weapon

Heaven wing
Increases CRITICAL DAMAGE by 20/25/30/35/40% . The beats have 60/70/80/90/100% Chance to land a small AoE attack, dealing 100% Physical Damage per Attack. Can only trigger once every 4 seconds.

This build focuses on buffing Ganyu's charged attack with the Wanderer's Troupe set, as it buffs both the opening hit and the AoE burst from each shot.

Increases Light Attack and Aimed Shot damage by 12/15/18/21/24% . Increases damage from fired arrows by an additional 8/10/12/14/16% for every 0,1 seconds the arrow is in flight, up to 0,5 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times per arrow.
