Guide to the mission of Yunli's companion in Honkai: Star Rail - “They will beat their swords into ploughshares”

Conditions for opening a mission

To begin the mission “They will beat their swords into plowshares” in Honkai: StarRail the following conditions must be met:

1. Reach Mastery level 21.
2. Complete the quest “Wolf Escape, Unknown Outcome” from the quest chain “Duel under the Azure Sky 1”.

Mission start

1. Receiving a message:
   • After fulfilling the conditions, you will receive a message from Yunli, who will ask about the whereabouts of March the 7th. She did not show up for the young master’s lesson and, apparently, decided to skip him.
2. Meeting with Yunli:
   • Meet Yunli at Aurumaton Lane, to discuss the offense of March 7th. This conversation will lead to a discussion of the delegation from a distant planet that brought a special sword to Miekke Kiewessia to Lofu Xianzhou.

Mission walkthrough

3. The problem with the sword:
   • Yunli will tell you that this blade, according to her, is cursed and cannot be given to the winner of the “Martial Arts Ceremony”. Join the swordswoman and help solve the sword problem.
4. A trip to Aurumaton Lane:
   • Head to the spatial anchor “Aurumaton Alley Night Market” to meet with Yunli. She will explain that she invited you to spend time with the Pathfinder.
5. Lunch at a restaurant:
   • Go with Yunli to the restaurant to have lunch. You will be interrupted by Sikui, Yukun's secretary, who will introduce Paavo from the Kalevala delegation. He will tell you about an ancient sword that should be a prize.
6. Visit to the Star Palace:
   • After lunch head to star palace and meet Yunli. There you will find the delegation and General Huaiyan, who will tell you more about the sword and that it was created by Hanguang, Yunli's father.
7. Yunli's emotional reaction:
   • After the conversation, Yunli will succumb to emotions and run away from the ceremony. Find her at the Star Palace and listen to her real reasons. She will tell you that her father's swords are cursed.
8. We go to the Crafts Commission:
   • Yunli will go to the Crafts Commission, where the sword is to be delivered for restoration. Talk to the artisans at the spatial anchor “Passage to the Academy of Excellence” to find out where she could have gone.
9. Fight with Aurumatons:
   • Find Yunli at Master Gongshu's aurumaton vault. Protect her from two animated robots.

       • Cloud golden toad (vulnerabilities: electrical, quantum)
       • Submissive lion dragon (vulnerabilities: windy, imaginary)

Mission completion

10. Return to the Star Palace:
    • Return to the Star Palace and talk to General Huaiyan. After the conversation, you will receive a message from Dahao about the missing sword.
11. Investigation by the Crafts Commission:
    • Go to the Crafts Commission and help Dahao in the investigation. Examine the place where the sword was kept and talk to witnesses.
12. Collect evidence:
    • Talk to Paavo, Yunli, Master Gongshu and Huaiyan. Examine the empty blade case and find a rose petal and a whole lock.
13. Debate with Dahao:
    • Talk to Dahao and present evidence to prove Yunli's innocence.

• Show proof:
  • Click on "Show Evidence" and select the "Rose Petal" found in the sword case.

14. A trip to the Star Skiff Haven:
    • After proving Yunli's innocence, go to Star Skiff Sanctuary and find Argenti. He will refuse to give up the sword and propose a duel.
15. Fight with Argenti:
    • Prepare for the Argenti boss fight. It is recommended to choose characters with physical, ice and fire damage types.
    • Battle with Argenti (vulnerabilities: physical, fire, ice)
      • Complete two combat phases to reclaim Lonely Cloud.
16. Conversation with a sword:
    • Talk to the animated sword and learn its history. He will ask Yunli to touch him and show him his story.
17. Mission completion:
    • Head to Aurumathon Alley to attend the unveiling of the monument to Lonely Cloud and the fallen Cloud Knight.
