Brawlhalla guide. Modes, Heroes, Resources, etc.
Let's find out why Ubisoft's XNUMXD fighting game Brawlhalla is so popular, what content you can find in it, and how to play it correctly.
The bravest warriors will fall into ...
Game modes
The official announcement of mobile Brawlhalla says that the game has over 20 different match modes. They are available in the sections of the main menu. Let's take a look at these sections.
Play Game
There are 4 quick match options where you earn gold and increase the experience of the heroes, but do not increase your competitive rating.
Available to everyone. Standard fight in which 4 people take part. The winner is the one who scored the most points for neutralizing opponents.
Knockout 1v1. Battle in the arena with a random opponent. You choose 3 heroes who will take turns in the game. The winner is the one who manages to neutralize all the opponent's characters.
Friendly game 2v2. You get a partner and together with him challenge another pair of players. Each character has 3 lives. Those who managed to neutralize their opponents three times in a match win.
Experimental 1x1. A special room in which standard 1v1 battles are held according to randomly set rules.
Rating game
The same matches in 1v1 and 2v2 modes, but in addition to experience and gold, you earn rating points. You can take part both in new matches and join existing ones by room number.
During the match, you get 2 types of rating:
- Character Rating. It characterizes how successfully you perform with a particular hero. For each character, the starting rating is 750 points.
- Elo rating. Your personal rating. Starts at 1200 points.
Special games room
This section of the menu allows you to arrange matches according to the rules you set. You create a special room in which you choose one of 17 special game modes (Horde, Sword Fight, Kung Foot and so on). Then you set up the parameters of the match: round time, number of lives, damage from a blow, the presence of gadgets on the battlefield, and others.
The room can be made public и private. The public room is accessible to players from all over the region*. Private entry is possible only by invitation.
*Brawlhalla is divided into 7 regions: Europe, US East, US West, Southeast Asia, Brazil, Australia and Japan.
If you do not want to create your own room, then you can always join other players by choosing one of the two methods marked in the screenshot below.
offline game
If you are a beginner and have just started to get acquainted with the game Brawlhalla, we recommend that you play a couple of matches offline. This is a set of activities in which you will be taught how to control heroes, offered to complete a series of easy quests for a reward and sent to compete with computer-controlled mobs.
couch party. Local game mode with friends. You'll find lots of fun here, no rewards at all, a chance to hone your skills in performing spectacular combos... or spamming the same punch to taunt your friends.
Training. A mode in which absolutely all the heroes of mobile Brawlhalla are available, including premium ones. You can carefully study their skills and choose those whose fighting styles are right for you. It also shows absolutely all the additions for the characters: skins, weapons, options for balancing characteristics, and so on.
Tournament. A competition against the computer in which you will hone your battle skills. Mob play in Brawlhalla is tough and merciless - at times the AI plays better than any live opponent and takes advantage of all your mistakes.
Textbooks. A set of elementary tasks, upon completion of which you will receive a reward in the form of gold. They are worth going through just for that.
Brawl of the Week (Platform King!)
A special event that changes every week. In this case, the battles are held according to the rules of the “King of the Platform!” mode. There are several signal platforms in the arena. To earn points, you need to stand on the red platform and prevent other players from taking it.
The one who scores the most points in the allotted time will win the match. The reward for victory is gold - a lot of gold that can be spent on acquiring heroes!
By the way, what about the heroes?
Heroes
Brawlhalla has a total of 81 Heroes, including Legends, which are required to be purchased with a special currency. Of them for gold, the base currency in the game, only 50 can be unlocked.
Brawlhalla character selection screen for Android
Each hero has a set of two weapons that he can use in the arena battle. There are a lot of weapon options in Brawlhalla: knightly spears, scythes, pistols, katanas, swords, bows, combat gloves and a great many other equally dangerous items.
Also, each hero has 4 characteristics:
- attack level;
- level of protection;
- range of injury;
- travel speed.
By varying these values in the range from 1 to 10, the developers managed to achieve the required diversity, which allows us to conditionally divide the characters into damage dealers, tanks, runners, and balanced warriors.
Resources
Resources in Brawlhalla do not play a decisive role, but they allow you to get more enjoyment from the game. We will highlight 3 types of resources that are in demand in the Store.
Gold
The base currency that is given as a reward for playing matches and completing a set of daily quests. To earn more gold, you need to be an active and productive player. The more kills you make in the course of the match and the more points you score, the greater your cash reward.
Gold is required to unlock base legends.
Coins Mammoth
Premium in-game currency needed to buy almost everything in the Brawlhalla store. At the same time, the coins themselves can only be bought for real money.
Glory
Points accumulated for success in ranked matches. The more victories you win in duels, the more points you will receive at the end of the season of rating battles. The duration of one season is 12-13 weeks.
Conclusion
What have we been able to find out? The first factor in the popularity of Brawlhalla is the variety of game modes. You are given over 20 ways to have fun!
The second factor is the number of characters. The game system is designed in such a way that periodically changes the composition of the heroes available to you. This allows you to diversify the gameplay, test new legends and gain experience.
And finally, it's just fun! Yes, there is a lot of donated content in the game, but your results do not depend on it in any way. In these fast-paced XNUMXD battles, it's all about skill and luck.
