Tips:
- use the skill Order: Aerial bombardment for quick energy recovery.
- Monitor your health level and use a basic attack Pyrogenic execution for healing.
3. Correct positioning in battle
Firefly can deal significant damage to multiple targets thanks to its ability Death Star Overload. It is important to position it so as to hit as many enemies as possible.
Tips:
- Target Death Star Overload on enemies that are closer together to damage not only the main target, but also adjacent enemies.
4. Optimal Relics and Light Cone
Using the right relics and light cone will greatly increase Firefly's effectiveness in battle.

Advantages and disadvantages of Firefly
Advantages | Disadvantages |
---|---|
Rapid Energy Generation: Despite the high cost of the Ultimate, the character can generate energy in just two uses of the skill "Command: Aerial Bombardment". This allows the character to use the Ultimate abilities frequently in combat. | Requires proper skill point allocation: To effectively use the skill, you need to skillfully allocate skill points to activate the skill every turn and quickly generate energy for the ultimate. |
Simple Stat Build: You don't need to balance a lot of stats to use your character effectively. Just focus on increasing your penetration, attack power, and speed. | Decrease Own HP: The character's normal skill greatly reduces his own HP. Without timely healing or a protective shield, the character is in a dangerous position and can quickly die. |
Powerful Base Level Buffs (E0): At base level, the character receives significant bonuses to speed, penetration efficiency, and damage, making him very effective in combat. | Little benefit from crit buffers: The character does not receive significant bonuses from allies that increase critical damage and critical chance. Instead, it is necessary to pump up attack power buffers, False GG, or knock out Ruan Mei. |
Gameplay Simplification: The character applies a fire vulnerability to the area and converts the attack power into a penetration effect. This makes it easier to build and use the character in various situations. | Damage Loss vs. Shielded Enemies: The character loses significant damage against enemies that can shield their stamina bar from being penetrated, reducing their effectiveness in such fights. |
Affordable and effective support: The best support buffer is the completely free Pathfinder (Imaginary), which increases the effect of penetration and "super penetration damage". Among the free weapons, there is also a good option "Aeon's Fall". |
Firefly Skills
Basic attack | Single attack
Energy recovery: 20
Durability bar depleted: 30 per target
Depending on the ability level, 1-9, deals fire damage to the selected enemy equal to 50-130% of Sam's attack power.
Skill | Single attack
Energy recovery: 50-65% of max. energy
Durability bar depleted: 60 per target
Depending on ability level, 1-15, consumes 40% of max. Sam's HP and restores a fixed amount of energy equal to 50-65% of his max. energy, and also deals fire damage to the selected enemy equal to 100-250% of Sam's attack power. If the current HP is not enough, then while using the skill, Sam's current HP drops to 1 unit. After using this skill, the character's next action moves forward by 25%.
Superpower | Gain
Power Consumption: 240
Energy recovery: 5
Entering the Full Burn state advances the character's action forward by 100%, and also enhances his basic attack and skill. Depending on the ability level, 1-15, the Full Burn state increases the character's speed by 30-75, and using an enhanced basic attack or an enhanced skill in the Complete Burn state increases the effectiveness of breaking through the character's vulnerability by 50%, and also increases the penetration damage received by targets by 10-25% until the end of the current attack.
Status countdown Complete combustion is displayed in the order bar. At the start of the countdown, Sam exits the Full Combustion state. The countdown speed is 70.
While in Full Combustion, Sam is unable to use his superpower.
Talent | Protection
The lower the HP value, the lower the damage the character receives. When HP is less than or equal to 20%, the damage reduction effect reaches max. values and, depending on the ability level, 1-15, reduces damage received by 20-50%. In the Full Burn state, the damage reduction effect retains the max. value, and resistance to effects increases by 10-40%.
If at the beginning of the battle the character’s energy is below 50%, then it is restored to 50%. When a character's energy is restored to max. values, all weakening is removed from it.
Explanation
A permanent reduction in incoming damage, which increases as Firefly's HP decreases. In the Full Burn state, the maximum value of incoming damage reduction is always in effect, and 30% SE is added to this. At the beginning of the battle, Firefly Energy is increased to 50% of the maximum, if it was less. Upon reaching 100% Energy, all Weaknesses are removed from the Firefly.
It is not for nothing that Firefly’s talent is entirely devoted to protective functions. To fully charge her Superpower, Firefly uses 2 Skills, which take away 80% of her HP, and the recovery of HP under Full Burn and the frequent stay of enemies in blackout tempts you to choose a survivability character based on how he breaks Fortitude, and not on how he heals /protects. All this leads to a constant risk of death, so reducing incoming damage is very useful. The Talent is worth upgrading.
SE is especially useful in the state of Complete Burning, because in addition to DoTs, it also protects against the effects of Control, which would be very inappropriate.
Technique
Lifts into the air and moves freely for 5 seconds, after which it can perform a falling attack that ends in free floating. After the end of the hover, Sam lowers himself to the ground and immediately attacks all enemies in the specified area, after which at the beginning of each wave he adds a fire vulnerability to all
enemies for turn 2, and then deals fire damage to all enemies equal to 200% of Sam's attack power.
Explanation
Flies for 5 seconds, lands after this time or when you press the attack button. After landing, he begins a fight with all enemies in a certain area. At the beginning of each wave, all enemies receive Fire Vulnerability for 2 turns and Fire Damage.
A good Technique, it helps to quickly break through Toughness of enemies and start dealing Super Penetration damage.
Depending on ability level, 1-9, restores 20% of max. HP and deals fire damage to the selected enemy equal to 100-260% of Sam's attack power.
Depending on ability level, 1-15, restores 25% of max. NR. Adds fire vulnerability to the selected enemy for turn 2 and deals fire damage equal to (0.2 x penetration effect + 100-250%) of Sam's attack power. Also deals fire damage to nearby targets equal to (10% x pierce effect + 50-125%) of Sam's attack power. The penetration effect in the above formulas cannot exceed 360%.
Explanation
Firefly has a normal and enhanced Skill. An enhanced Skill is activated by activating a Superpower.
A normal Skill deals damage to one target (which is unusual for Destruction characters), takes away 40% of Firefly's HP, but restores 60% of its Energy and advances the next action by 25%. The purpose of a regular Skill is to charge the Superpower in order to switch to the enhanced Skill as quickly as possible.
An enhanced Skill deals explosion damage to the selected enemy and two adjacent ones. Damage is dealt with double multipliers, from EP and from Attack, but this is still not the main source of damage, you should not focus on it.
The main thing in an enhanced Skill is 90 Fortitude damage to the selected target and 45 to neighboring ones, since Super Penetration damage depends on this parameter. This is why the boosted Skill is Firefly's main offensive Ability, and is always preferable to the boosted Basic Attack, which deals only 45 Toughness damage to a single target.
In addition, the enhanced skill restores Firefly 25% HP and puts Fire Vulnerability on the target enemy for 2 turns. The latter is critically important when the enemy does not have his own Fire Vulnerability, because Super Penetration damage can only be dealt to a pierced enemy.
Both versions of the skill are preferred. When building a squad and character rotations, this should be taken into account first. Firefly should always have Skill Points at his disposal to spam Skills throughout the fight.
Eidolons (constellations) of Firefly
Eidolon 1
Using an enhanced skill ignores 15% of the enemy's defense. Also, using an enhanced skill does not consume skill points.
Eidolon 2
Defeating an enemy or breaking through an enemy's vulnerability with an empowered basic attack or an empowered skill while in Burnout immediately grants Sam 1 extra turn. This effect can only trigger again after 1 turn(s).
Eidolon 3
The skill level is increased by 2, the maximum level is 15. The basic attack level is increased by 1, the maximum level is 10.
Eidolon 4
While in Burnout, Sam's resistance to effects is increased by 50%.
Eidolon 5
Superpower level is increased by 2, the maximum level is 15. The talent level is increased by 2, the maximum level is 15.
Eidolon 6
In the Full Burn state, Sam's fire resistance penetration increases by 20%. Using an enhanced basic attack or an enhanced skill increases the effectiveness of breaking through a vulnerability by 50%.
Character Traces
Module α: Immediate Explosion
Attacks in the Full Burn state against enemies without a fire vulnerability deplete their durability by 55% of the initial durability damage of the skill used.
Explanation
While Fully Burning, Firefly deals Toughness damage equal to 55% of the corresponding attack's Toughness damage to enemies without a Fire Vulnerability.
Firefly's skill only applies Fire Vulnerability to the target enemy. This Trail adds the ability to slightly drain the Fortitude of two adjacent targets as well. Not all situations will benefit greatly from this Trace, but the more ways to break Fortitude, the better.
Module β: Instant Armor
If Sam's pierce effect in Full Burn is greater than or equal to 200%/360%, then after attacking an enemy with a pierced vulnerability, the attack's toughness damage will be converted into super pierce damage equal to 35%/50% of the pierce damage, respectively.
Explanation
In the Full Burn state, if Firefly has 200%/360% EP, she deals 35%/50% Super Penetration damage to enemies with pierced Fortitude.
This is Firefly's only native source of Super Penetration damage, and as you can see, this damage has a 50% multiplier at best, while the Imaginary Pathfinder's Ultimate effect gives 100% Super Penetration damage. These two Super Penetrations stack, i.e., together with the Imaginary Pathfinder, the Firefly deals up to 150% Super Penetration damage.
In other words, Firefly is not a completely independent damage dealer; her damage is very dependent on the Super Penetration support.
Module γ: Core Overload
For every 10 units. Sam's attack power exceeds the threshold of 1800 units, his penetration effect increases by 0.8%.
Explanation
0.8% EP for every 10 Firefly Attack above 1600.
Gaining 360% EP even with external buffs would have been almost impossible if not for this Trace. 3000 Attacks provide a whopping 112% EP, and there is no conversion cap. With this Trace and external buffs, Firefly's EP easily exceeds 400%.
