Plot:
The film centers around the iconic Nemesis Arc and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips' study of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a socially disrespected man, is not only a serious study of character, but a larger cautionary tale. The story will begin in Gotham in the early 80s and will be the first film under the new banner that Warner Bros. not yet named, but which will expand the canon of DC Comics properties and create unique storylines with different actors playing the characters.
