Diablo 2 - continuation of a computer game in the genre of action / RPG (Hack and slash), developed by the American company Blizzard north and released Blizzard Entertainment for Windows and Mac OS in 2000, the events of which unfold some time after the events of the first part. The knight from Diablo now stands on the side of Evil, he is called the Dark Wanderer, who went to the jungle of Kurast to free Mephisto, the embodiment of Hatred from imprisonment. The archer is also cursed, lives in a cemetery not far from the Monastery, but no one has heard anything about the magician. In Diablo 2, the choice of main characters has been expanded, now there are five of them: a necromancer, an amazon, a barbarian, a sorceress and a paladin. Each character is endowed with certain abilities.

The gameplay remains unchanged. The world of Diablo consists of 4 zones - the wooded plateau and the Monastery, the Great Desert and the city of Lut Goilen, the Kurasta jungle and the Fortress on the threshold of Hell. It is necessary to complete tasks received from minor characters, travel around the map and destroy the undead in batches. Each mission ends with an intermediate boss. Leveling up the hero has also not changed. You can find such equipment that the character becomes practically invulnerable. Skills are improved as you progress through the game and depend on the number of experience points gained.
