Popular New York writer Alan Wake went missing in 2010. While vacationing in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Alice Wake, he encountered a supernatural, dark force that brought Wake's thriller to life. He fought the Dark Entity and was able to banish it to the nightmarish Dark Abode, hidden under a volcanic lake near the town of Bright Falls. Wake wrote the ending of the novel and thereby saved his wife from the nightmare from the lake, but in return he himself remained captive of darkness.

Control 2 is a third-person action game from Remedy Entertainment. During the game, we fight enemies, assist ourselves with numerous special abilities and explore complex maps made in the style known from the Metroidvania genre.
