Close to the Sun: Nikola Tesla's Killer Ship

Ingenious inventor Nikola Tesla rarely becomes the hero of video games. Offhand, you can only remember The Order: 1886 and Red Dead Redemption 2, where there is his caricature version, Marko Dragic. In Close to the Sun, the Serbian scientist, apparently, will appear in a terrifying way.
The game's debut trailer features deserted, semi-dark locations of Tesla's airship. The off-screen voice tries to find survivors through radio communication, and the central character wanders alone through the compartments of the ship. The Close to the Sun trailer showcases the ship's interesting design, and gameplay footage hints at an Outlast-style run where dangers can only be run away.
The plot of the game tells how, in an alternate reality of the 19th century, the inventions of Nikola Tesla had a strong influence on technological progress. The main character, journalist Rose, is looking for her sister, who disappeared on an airship under mysterious circumstances. Game authors notethat the girl does not know how to defend herself, and a mysterious ally will help her survive.
The game is developed by the Italian studio Storm in a Teacup with the support of Wired Productions. The release is scheduled for 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms, the authors have not yet announced the exact date.
