Big Changes Are Coming to the Genshin Impact Elemental Reaction Meta.
Chinese game developer miHoYo is preparing an update that will soon change the Genshin Impact elemental reaction meta.
According to miHoYo developer discussion 4/29, elemental reactions that players have used will receive buffs and adjustments to "elevate the role they play in combat".
This means that the damage dealt by some of the basic elemental reactions such as Electrocution, Superconductor, Overload, Whirlwind, and Sunder will be boosted for characters level 60 and above.
Because most of the above reactions involve electro element, the next update of Genshin Impact may move to this meta. Can we finally see Bei Dou, Fischl, Ke Qing, Lisa and Razor reach their true potential?
This is also in line with the future update Inazuma , in which he debuts Electro Archon Baal.
Since Elemental Reactions and Elemental Mastery go hand in hand in Genshin Impact, the DMG bonus caused by the latter will also be boosted.
Shields created with the Elemental Crystallize Reaction will also be slightly more powerful with the added base damage absorption of the shield.
All of these planned changes are still in development and nothing has been confirmed yet. They are currently being tested by miHoYo in beta version 1.6.
