When you log into the game after installing the DLC, you will automatically get a fabulous cutscene and an on-screen tooltip for the new Restless Dreams quest near Valka's Hut. The waypoint of the quest will lead you to it, after which you will go to the world of dreams. Complete the storyline for
During the story, there is nothing to pay special attention to. Feel free to pick up collectibles as you explore the world, or save them all for Step 2, it's up to you. Please note that some areas are prohibited or closed until you reach a place in the story.
Step 2: 100% completion (Wealth, Mysteries, Artifacts)
As with the base game and other DLCs, you need 100% map completion by finding all the riches, secrets, and artifacts in the four regions of Svartalfheim. It will bring you
Most of the various trophies require you to use the items and resources that you will encounter in this step anyway, so you will basically be ready for step 3 if not already done.
Step 3: Miscellaneous Trophies
By now you should have everything you need for 100%. If you haven't tried out Atgeir's new weapon yet, then equip it and get 30 kills, fully upgrade the Hugr-Rip, grow resources to upgrade if necessary, visit the Valkyrie Arena and clean Hreidmar's armor.
Beyond the Mountains (Over the hills)
Complete all missions in Svartalfheim (Rise of Ragnarok)
For this trophy, you must complete all the Riches, Secrets and Artifacts in the four regions of Svartalfheim. You can see your progress for each region on the world map by hovering over it and checking the box in the lower right corner. You can still return to all regions after the story.
Ashes of Svartalfheim (Ashes of Svartalfheim).
Complete the Dawn of Ragnarok Story Campaign
An automatic trophy related to history cannot be missed. This is to end the story.
Hugr the Incarnate (Hugr Incarnate).
Fully upgrade the Hugr-Rip
Hugr-Rip is obtained at the beginning of the DLC during the third story mission "Gift to God". It allows you to draw essence from defeated enemies, with
For this trophy you will need to upgrade Hugr-Rip to max. You can upgrade it at any of the blacksmiths located in Hideouts throughout the map (see below).
You will need Silica, Fragments and Muspelheim Coals to upgrade the Hugr-Rip. You get Silica by raiding locations marked with two crossed red axes on the world map and opening large chests inside, just like you collected Cargo in the main game. The only difference is that instead of monasteries, you're raiding Milna (The Mills), which are buildings connected to giant waterwheels located on the game's rivers. There are 10 in total and you will need 60 Silica to fully upgrade the Hugr-Rip.
Fragments are more common and are dropped by various enemies such as Jotun, Muspeli and Giant Ravens located in Svartalfheim. You should get more than enough for this trophy just by killing the enemies you meet in the story quests and side activities, but if you need more you can always roam the world map and farm it.
The coals of Muspelheim are located on the monoliths of Muspelheim (see fig.
Expert Storyteller (Expert Storyteller).
Tell Kara a story that contains at least four boasts.
Kara is a Valkyrie who runs the arena in the Svaladal region.
As you fight through various challenges called Tales, you earn a special currency (Kara Tokens) that you can use to purchase unique armor and weapons from her. To increase the amount you get, you can activate various Boasts before starting the tale, which essentially act as negative modifiers, such as granting more health to enemies and fighting while drunk.
To unlock more boasts, you need to find Heroic Sagas, which are artifact collectibles. There are 12 in total, and while you only need four for this trophy, you still need to collect all 12 for
It's all in the wrist (It's All in the Wrist).
Kill 30 enemies with Atgeir.
Atgeir is a new type of weapon introduced in Dawn of Ragnarok. It is a pole weapon and a spear-like handle. You automatically get it after the boss fight in the third story mission "Gift to God". Just equip it as soon as you can and kill any 30 enemies you come across.
Ass cavers (Aesir Spelunker).
Find all hideouts.
An automatic trophy related to history cannot be missed.
Vaults act as the hubs of each region in Dawn of Ragnarok, similar to Ravensthorpe from the main game. Here you can find blacksmiths, shops, stables, etc. There are four of them in total, the first of which you will discover as part of the early main story quest, and the remaining three you will have to find as part of the ongoing quest “Seeking Shelter”. Hideouts will not automatically appear on the map, but you will get a rough location and when you get close to the area you will find orange arrows painted on objects in the world like carts, barrels and rocks. Eventually they will lead to an underground cavern that you can dive into and find shelter.
Ultimately, you need to find the second Sanctuary in Gulnamar and the Shelters in Svaladal and Wangrinn as part of the main quest, as this is where the individual story arcs of each region begin and end.
Blessing of Modsognir (Motsognir's Blessing).
Purify the Cursed Armor of Hreidmar.
Cursed Armor of Hreidmar can be obtained from Hodda's Orphanage, located in the Vangrinn region. It is on a stand on top of the plinth in the room adjacent to the blacksmith. However, when you equip any of the armor pieces, they will drain your health and you won't be able to dodge attacks.
To remove the curse, you need to equip each of the five armor pieces with the Motsognir Clarity rune. They can be obtained by finding and completing five "Jotun Blight" artifacts scattered throughout Svartfheim.
Once you equip a rune with armor, it will change from silver to gold and will be called "Blessed" instead of "Cursed". Do this for all five parts.
I do not see the evil (See No Evil).
Kill two enemies and teleport away without being seen.
Before you try this trophy, you must have both the Jotunheim Force and the Raven Force equipped on your Hugr-Rip. They can be obtained from random Jotun enemies and Giant Ravens around the map, respectively. Second, you'll have to purchase both the Power of Jotunheim upgrade, which allows you to teleport-kill by aiming and archery at an enemy, and the upgrade, which gives you two uses of the Hugr-Rip with a single charge.
After that, find two enemies anywhere (preferably in a larger area where you are unlikely to be seen by other patrollers) and activate the Force of Jotunheim. Teleport - Kill one enemy, then quickly do the same to another, then activate Raven Force and fly away from the detection zone.
Flying fortress (Flying Fortress).
Reach the Muspelheim Monolith.
Monoliths are giant lava-covered rocks suspended above the world map. To get to one, you'll need to use Hugr-Rip's Raven Power and either upgrade the Force to increase its duration, or buy an upgrade that gives you two charges at the same time, otherwise you'll struggle to fly high enough before it runs out. .
You won't need to reach the Monolith for the main story, but you will need to for the Ballad of Krak and Skavi World Event in Svaladal and eventually all nine of them to get enough Muspelheim Embers to fully upgrade the Hugr-Rip. The best way to pinpoint exactly where you're headed is to zoom in on the Monolith on the world map and click
