Gibraltar is a strong character if you like armor-piercing options. His tactical abilities give you the ability to protect your teammates and yourself by looting, respawning or restoring health!

GIBRALTAR HISTORY

Impregnable Shield

Gibraltar is a meek giant with a wild side to it. The son of volunteers from the SAAU (Search and Rescue Association of Solace), he has always been able to get others out of dangerous situations that are not uncommon in the Outlands. However, he realized the cost of protecting others only after he stole his father's motorcycle for fun with his boyfriend and landed in a powerful mudflow. His parents managed to save him, but because of this, his father lost his arm. Gibraltar did not forget his feat and devoted his whole life to helping those who need it.

The Apex Games didn't change its purpose, but they changed its meaning. Many of Gibraltar's friends and colleagues competed in the Games for money and fame for years, but some never returned home. Gibraltar went to the Games to keep them safe. For the first time, his lifeguard skills and rebellious nature found common ground. Now he is an Apex Games legend. In the line of fire, he covers the detachment with himself, and rivals, seeing him, scatter in search of shelter.

TACTICAL SKILL

protective dome

Places a protective dome that blocks attacks for 15 seconds.

You can expose it and the shield will block all incoming damage for 15 seconds. This is a great defensive ability, but remember that you can't fire outside of it. However, that doesn't mean you can't use it as a way to harm your enemies. You can run in and out of it while shooting, thus blocking incoming fire. This shield should be remembered that your enemies can also use it for protection. You can't shoot through it at all, so be careful when exposing it.

PASSIVE SKILL

Weapon Shield

While aiming, you turn on a weapon shield that protects from enemy fire.

This is a pretty good passive and will be used quite often. The shield makes Gibraltar a good option for a sniper. You can take a shot and be protected from enemies the first time you try to get revenge. Although the exact status of the shield is unknown, there is a visual indicator on your screen when it is on. When you damage the shield, you will notice that the cells start to decrease. Once you've taken too much damage, the shield will break and you'll need to wait for it to recharge before it's usable again.

SPECIAL SKILL

Bombing

Causes a massive shelling of the marked position.

This is very similar to Bangalore's ultimate in that it will bombard a designated area depending on which flare was thrown. When Gibraltar throws a capsule, the location of the impact is indicated by a circle. Mortar fire will then be applied to the area, dealing damage to all enemies caught in it. The bombardment lasts quite a long time, so if you can keep the enemies in this corner, they will take a lot of damage.

GIBRALTAR TIPS

While Gibraltar puts up a shield when he aims at enemies, this does not make him invulnerable. You still have to be sure to take out your targets quickly because the shield is limited and breaks pretty quickly.
Gibraltar can do well as a sniper from behind a shield. When you aim and shoot, you can be calm for a short time because the shield will protect you from incoming fire.
On top of that, you can also be a little more aggressive and use a shotgun because you can outlive your opponent due to the damage your shield absorbs.
Your tactical ability is great for covering a teammate who needs to be revived or healed, or when you need to grab loot. It can also help you survive if you experience an enemy ultimate in the area that can damage you.
The deployed shield can also be used to escape. Throw it in front of an opponent to block them while you get out of the situation.
Your ult is a bit slow, so you won't be able to deal significant damage to enemies in this area, because they will have time to get out of the zone of defeat, it is mainly intended for zoning them.
Defensive bombardment does not damage your teammate. So if you don't have your shield, you can throw it over them to keep the enemies at bay.
