All Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
New harmless NPCs have been added to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. These charming characters appear in many places on the map and provide different types of bonuses that can give you small advantages in the game. These characters were first shown in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 trailer, jumping out and running around in random cutscenes.
There are currently three Ghosts in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, and this article aims to explain their purpose and how to find them.
All Ghost Types in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
1) Water Sprite
Water Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 are commonly found in the game. These adorable creatures can be picked up and take up one of your weapon slots. Once thrown, they act like a Shield Keg, slowly healing everyone in a visible blue radius. They can be found almost anywhere on the map and can be picked up using the main interaction key. You cannot shoot or damage them.
2) Air Sprite
Air Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 are fast-moving, grey creatures that are slightly harder to find than Water Sprites. If you try to catch them, they will start running away, making the task more difficult for players – especially when their stamina bar is depleted.
If you do manage to successfully catch one, you can throw it to do an Updraft Boost, which works similar to a launch pad. It lifts you high enough to quickly fly hundreds of meters using a hang glider.
If you can't pick it up, don't worry. This is a known bug and should be fixed in the next patch. A quick potential fix for this issue is to switch from the pickaxe to another weapon slot and vice versa, and try interacting again.
3) Earth Sprite
Earth Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 look like an old man with a body made of wood. These creatures are relatively hard to find in the game. They have a low spawn rate and do not wander around randomly like Air and Water Sprites, but sit in a fixed location.
While it's not confirmed, players have learned that only two Earth Sprites spawn per match, making them rarer than Llamas, which previously spawned three per match. If you're lucky enough to find one, you can interact with it to trade items.
Depending on the rarity of the item you trade, Earth Sprite will give you a few consumables or a rare weapon. Most of the consumables he drops are fish. As confirmed by popular streamer SypherPK, Earth Sprite is limited to trading two items at a time and has the potential to drop Legendary and possibly even Mythic weapons.
So now you know everything about Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. It should be noted that the map and loot pool in the game changes periodically every week, so new Sprites may appear in the future. If you can’t find a Sprite nearby, you can visit and interact with the Sprite Shrine, which looks like a giant carved rock with a light beam pointing upward.
