Anthem Update 1.0.4 Will Bring New Legendary Missions

The release of update 1.0.4 marks the arrival of legendary missions. These challenges will allow you to go back along the story path and replay important early missions, but with new and stronger enemies.

Here are some interesting details.

You can complete one legendary mission per day

In total, six legendary missions will be available: one mission per day. To start a legendary mission, use the expedition screen in the starting zone or Fort Tarsis. You can complete the legendary mission of the day as many times as you like (until it changes to another one). Legendary versions will appear in the following six story missions:

• "The Lost Archologist";
• "Invasion";
• "Meeting with old friends";
• "Tomb of General Tarsis";
• "Fortress of Dawn";
• Freelancer defeated.

Missions will be killer

Before embarking on a legendary mission of high difficulty, we advise you to reach the maximum level and acquire at least a few outstanding or legendary items of equipment, otherwise you will often die. You will also need to coordinate your actions with allies in order to quickly destroy opponents with focused fire. To ensure that the missions don't seem too easy for you, we have changed the enemies you encounter there, so be prepared for anything.

The resulting equipment will be better

The more difficult the challenges you face, the better the gear you drop will be. The drop of items directly depends on the difficulty level that you choose to complete the legendary mission, but do not overestimate your strength. Legendary missions on the Master 3 difficulty level will be a real meat grinder.

In the future, we plan to expand the selection of legendary missions (however, the six listed above represent the majority of the story missions). Respond to the challenge and show your enemies the true power of the Freelancers.
