Here's how to complete the epic Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 6 Week 2 Challenges, with detailed instructions and maps.
Season 1 of Fortnite is here and it's brought with it a fresh set of weekly challenges to complete for extra XP, so here's everything you need to do for Week XNUMX.
With the new season of Fortnite comes a new battle pass, so if you're looking to get a head start on getting the Tower Guardian at level 100, now is the perfect time. To give players a weekly boost, Epic Games is offering players a series of weekly challenges for a large amount of XP.
Wasting no time, the Epics provided the players with a series of tasks to complete. Since it's a new season with some brand new mechanics to figure out, these challenges act as an introduction to everything new.
Let's take a look at the new tasks:
- ⋅ Find golden artifacts near the Tower.
- ⋅ Craft a hunter's cloak
- ⋅ Collect mechanical parts from cars, trailers, buses or tractors.
- ⋅ Wildlife hunting
- ⋅ Build mechanical weapons using mechanical parts and makeshift weapons.
Find golden artifacts near the tower
The golden artifacts near the tower are the golden llama figurines scattered around the Tower, which is the central location of Fortnite Island. Above you can look at the map with the location of the artifacts and below the screenshots with real locations.
Craft a hunting cape
Creating a hunter's cape is actually quite simple. However, you will need to hunt animals. You choose boars or wolves, and once you've eliminated them, you'll need to pick up both the raw meat and the bones they drop. To create a hunting cape, you need to have two bones and one piece of meat in your inventory. Next, you need to select the meat in your inventory and then click on the crafting section to the right of the inventory option.
You will then see the hunter's cape and you can click "craft" to craft the cape. It will then be in your inventory for you to use. Once used, the cape will be on your back and I assume it will be easier to tame new wild animals like wolves. Also, bones can be bought from Rex, around the location of which these animals are.
Talk to characters
You can talk to the right characters in one place - just find any character, talk to him, and then repeat the conversation with him until the challenge is completed.
Obtain parts from vehicles, trailers, cars or tractors
In order to find and collect parts, you need to find the listed vehicle on the Fortnite map. Then you just need to hit the car with a pickaxe and you will notice that parts will fall out of it, which you can then collect.
Craft mechanical weapons with parts and makeshift weapons
To complete this task, we need 2 things:
- Weapons of ordinary quality (not prehistoric!)
- Spare parts
You already know how to get spare parts, but to search for conventional weapons, I advise you to get in the car and drive along the road, you will definitely find a couple.
After that, go to your inventory, go to the crafting tab and select a non-prehistoric weapon in your inventory. If you have enough spare parts, then you can craft new weapons from gray quality weapons. Do this with 3 normal guns and the task will be completed.
Hunt the animals
Animals have appeared in Fortnite this season. They can be found all over the map, just by traveling on it. Having found a wolf or a boar, just attack it and kill it, thus completing the task.
Craft prehistoric weapons with bones and makeshift weapons
To make a prehistoric weapon, we need bones and weapons (not prehistoric or mechanical quality). You will find bones in nature, and you will get them if you approach the skeletons of dead animals and use your pickaxe.
Also, you can fly to Rex and buy bones from him for 10 gold. In total, 4 bones and one weapon are required to create one prehistoric weapon.
